Beulah M. Mckeighan

Beulah Mae McKeighan, 87, of rural Robinson, IL, died at 5:55 a.m. Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at the Cotillion Ridge Nursing Center, Robinson. She was born April 28, 1923 in Lawrenceville, IL the daughter of Barton Mickey and Marjorie McClaskey Mickey. She was a rural mail carrier for the United States Post Office. She was a member of the Flat Rock First Missionary Baptist Church.Beulah married John F. McKeighan on December 4, 1943 and he preceded her in death on April 10, 2008. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Rayburn Griffey; and her brother, Clyde Mickey.Beulah is survived by 2 sons and daughters-in-law, John B. and Rindy McKeighan, Robinson, Mickey D. and Kerry McKeighan, Carmel, IN; 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Darla and Kenny Groteguth, Freelandville, IN, Sue and Kevin McConnell, Robinson; 14 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; her brother, Ralph Mickey, Kankakee; her 2 sisters and a brother-in-law, Donna and Paul Moyes, Olney, Peg Riggs, Mt Carmel; and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 25, 2010 at the First Missionary Baptist Church, Flat Rock with Pastor John Mulvany officiating. Burial will be in the Jones Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, June 25th from 12:00 €œ 2:00 at the church preceding the services. Memorials may be made to the First Missionary Baptist Church with envelopes available at the church or any of the Goodwine Funeral Homes.
