Beulah Evelyn Ramsey

Beulah Evelyn Ramsey, 98 of Robinson, IL, died at 5:47 p.m. Friday, November 13, 2009 at Crawford Memorial Hospital, Robinson. She was born June 29, 1911 in Sullivan, IL, the daughter of Jesse J. Elder and Mirtie Anderson Elder. She was a homemaker, a member of the Robinson First United Methodist Church, the Susanna Wesley Circle, Katherine Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star, and the Crawford Memorial Hospital Auxillary.She married Herman J. Ramsey on March 19, 1943 and he preceded her in death on November 10, 1967. She was also preceded by her parents; 2 brothers, Delmar and Junior Elder; and her sister Freda Neunaber.Beulah is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Brenda J. and Garrett R. Graham, Robinson; her two grandchildren and their spouses, Anthony R. and Michelle Graham, Marshall, Melinda J. and Brandon Harmon, Robinson; 3 great grand children; her sister, Lola Belle Owen, East Carondelet, IL; and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 17th at 10:30 a.m. at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson. Rev. Max Borah is in charge of services. Burial will be in the Greenhill Cemetery, Sullivan, IL at 2:30 p.m. Visitation will be at the funeral home Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Robinson First United Methodist Church or to the Methodist Foundation with envelopes at the funeral home.
