Betty Lou Elliott

Betty Lou Elliott, 79, of Palestine, IL, died at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at her residence. She was born July 23, 1929 in Petersburg, IN, the daughter of Edward Clarence Kendall and Esther Quackenbush Kendall. She was a homemaker and attended the South Union Church, rural Flat Rock, IL.She married Ernest Wayne Elliott and he preceded her in death August 28, 1973. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Teresa Elliott; 2 brothers, Eugene Kendall and Edward Kendall; and 1 great-great grandchild.She is survived by 4 daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon Lasam, Palestine, Carolyn & Artie Hernandez, Mattoon, Barbara Elliott, Carmel, IN, Patricia and Douglas LaMoy, West Field, IN; 2 sons and her daughter-in-law, Aaron Elliott, Branson, MO, Jack Wayne and Mindy Elliott, Branson, MO; 13 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 2 sisters and brothers-in-law, Deloris and Calvin Stutsman, Ferndale, WA, and June and James Thompson, Odon, IN.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 13, 2009 at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Palestine, IL, with Brother Jack Cunningham officiating. Burial will be in the Palestine Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, March 12th at the funeral home.
