Betty J. Enlow

Betty J. Enlow, 75, of Vincennes, IN, formerly of Flat Rock, IL, died Friday, May 16, 2008 at 5:05 a.m., E.S.T., at Gentle Care Nursing Home in Vincennes, IN. She was born February 6, 1933 in Flat Rock, the daughter of Clarence and Hallie Myers Lamb. She worked for L.S. Heath and Sons Candy Company before she retired in 1980 and was a member of the 1st Christian Church in Flat Rock.She married Raymond Lee Enlow on October 24, 1952, and he preceded her in death November 17, 2002. She is also preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Beulah Lamb and Francine Lamb; and three brothers, Gary L. Lamb, Lester Fay Lamb, and Clarence Lamb.She is survived by her son, Leon and his wife Kim Enlow of Vincennes; her daughter, Cathy J. Enlow of Vincennes; her grandson, Joshua Enlow of Vincennes; three sisters, Dorothy Wesner of Flat Rock, Norma Melton of Marshall, and Lois Dix of Hutsonville.Graveside services will be held Monday, May 19 at 10:00 a.m. at the Jones Cemetery, rural Flat Rock. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Goodwine Funeral Home in Flat Rock is in charge of arrangements.
