Bernice Springer

Bernice Springer, 94, of Robinson, IL died Saturday, April 2, 2011 at the Crawford Memorial Hospital, Robinson. She was born August 4, 1916 in Rantoul, IL, the daughter of William J. Miller and Elda Corine Lichte Miller. Bernice was a homemaker. She was a member of the Robinson First Baptist Church, Robinson American Legion Post #69 Auxiliary, Ladies of the Elks Lodge #1188 and a lifetime member of the Robinson V. F. W. Post #4549 AuxiliaryBernice married Louis Dell Springer on November 26, 1936 and he preceded her in death January 4, 2010. She was also preceded in death by her parents; her son, Randall Eugene Springer; and 2 brothers, Francis and Merle Miller.She is survived by her son, Ron Springer, Robinson; and several nieces and nephews.Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 7, 2010 at the Bradbury Cemetery, West York, IL with Rev. Tom Akers officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 6th at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson, IL.
