Bennie Allen Dick

Bennie Allen Dick, 58 of Flat Rock, IL, died at 6:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at his residence. He was born August 22, 1950 in East Chicago, IN, the son of Floyd and Norma Dick. He retired from Inland Steel in 1999 after 34 years of services. He was a member of the Flat Rock American Legion Post #132 and the Palestine Eagles Lodge.He married Mary McMunn on December 31, 2005 and she survives. He is also survived by 2 step-children, Dawn Gordon and Roger Dominiak, both of Flat Rock; and his sister, Thelma Sullivan, Portage.Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 18, 2009 at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Flat Rock. Burial will be in the Jones Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, July 17th at the funeral home.
