Allen Stucker, 57, of Robinson, IL, passed away unexpectedly at his home on July 24, 2023. Born on May 13, 1966, in Shelbyville, IN, Allen grew up in the close-knit community of Waldron, IN, and flourished as a standout athlete and scholar. He shined in high school, imbuing team spirit while playing tennis, golf, baseball, and basketball. He was also active in the Boy Scouts and eventually became an Eagle Scout, demonstrating his commitment to service and excellence at a young age. The athletic and academic skills honed during his formative years helped him later secure a seat at the prestigious Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. In 1988, Allen graduated with a degree in Chemical Engineering, an achievement that paved the way for his enriching career. For over three decades, Allen was an invaluable asset to Marathon Petroleum in Robinson, IL. His work as a chemical engineer from 1988 to 2020, displayed consistent dedication and exceptional problem-solving skills that earned him the respect of his colleagues and superiors alike.
Off-hours, Allen proved to be an absolute nerd! He was an avid science fiction reader, comic book collector, and frequenter of GenCon. Every Friday night was set aside for Dungeons and Dragons, a fantasy role-playing game he enjoyed alongside his friends. However, Allen's curiosity wasn't confined to the borders of invented universes. He was a multifaceted individual who could weave in-depth conversations about everything from physics to philosophy. Much of what he learned could be attributed to podcasts, which he could almost always be found listening to using his ever-present headphones. After all, Allen was never one to do things by halves; he was an all-or-nothing kind of person - a trait that made him exceptional in everything he did.
Our sweet memories of Allen Stucker will forever serve as a testament to an individual who, in his unique way, combined intellect, empathy, and joy. Even in death, his bright spirit will continue to inspire us to push beyond our boundaries and embrace life with an open heart, staying intellectually curious and emotionally aware.
For you, Allen, we will.

He is also survived by his daughters, Sam Stucker (Vincennes, IN), Barbara Stucker & Dan Preradovic (Scottsdale, AZ), Lauren Stucker & Mark Lippert (Madison, WI), and Morgan & Alex Stucker (Bloomington, IL); his step-daughters, Kyndal & Ryan Keen and Aubyn Medsker; his step-son, Aaron & Jordan Medsker; his grandchildren, Wryn Medsker and Owyn Steele; his nephews, Bobby Stucker and Nicholas Stucker & his family; his father-in-law & mother-in-law, Bob & Barbara Bell; his brother-in-law, Mike Bell; his sisters-in-law, Conni Wampler and Angela & Brian English; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
