Alice V. Liston

Alice V. Liston, 78, of Robinson, IL, died at 4:50 p.m. Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at the Lawrence County Memorial Hospital, Lawrenceville, IL. She was born April 25, 1932 in Crawford County, IL, the daughter of Carson Brush and Ina Harris Brush. She was a homemaker and a member of the Dayspring Church.Alice married William E. Liston, Sr. on June 3, 1950 and he preceded her in death on September 17, 1989. She was also preceded in death by her parents; 1 son in infancy; her daughter, Rose Courtney; and her sister, Wilma Brush.She is survived by her children and their spouses, Gerald and Kay Liston, Fremont, CA, William E. Liston, Jr., Newton, Donna and Donald Rowe, Palestine, Sarah and Norman McCain, Charlottesville, VA; her son-in-law, David Courtney, Robinson; 10 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Betty Bonham, Robinson; 2 brothers and sisters-in-law, Don and Brenda Brush, Robinson, Bob and Dee Brush, Effingham; and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 19, 2010 with Pastor Larry McCormick officiating at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson. Burial will be in the Robinson New Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12:00p.m. until service time at 2:00 on Saturday. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer€™s Association.
