Alice Mabel Bonesteel

Alice Mabel Bonesteel, 101, of Robinson, IL, died at 11:35 a.m. Friday, October 16, 2009 at Ridgeview Care Center in Oblong, IL. She was born February 20, 1908 in Clark County, IL, the daughter of Everett Ralston and Addie Knapp Ralston. She was a homemaker and a member of the New Hope Baptist Church in Robinson. She married Virgil F. Bonesteel on March 18, 1928 and he preceded her in death on April 3, 1992. She was also preceded in death by her parents; her daughter and son-in-law, Lola and Clay Rich; and her brother, Hubert Ralston.Alice is survived by 2 sons and daughters- in-law, Mervin and Carolyn Bonesteel, Robinson, Larry and Kathleen Bonesteel, Greencastle, IN; 9 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and several great-great grandchildren.Graveside funeral services will be held at Baliff Cemetery rural Clark County at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 18th. Rev. George Meese is in charge of the service.
