Alice Jean Haynie Webber

Alice Jean Haynie Webber, 84 of Robinson, IL died at 5:00 a.m. Saturday, January 1, 2011 at her home after an extended illness. She was born June 25, 1926 in Royal Oaks, Michigan, the daughter of Frank C. Haynie and Alice G. Estill Haynie. Jean was a registered nurse and had worked for Dr. Allen at the Allen Sanitarium in Robinson and had worked for Dr. Salesman, the Cotillion Ridge Nursing Center, and Ridgeview Care Center in Oblong. She also had worked as a backup nurse at Marathon Refinery. She was an avid Nascar fan and supported the Humane Society.She married William G. Webber on February 12, 1949 and he preceded her in death on February 28, 2004. She was also preceded by her daughter, Betsy Jo McCammon; her parents; her brother, William Haynie; and 2 first cousins, William Jackson and Suzanne Brown.She is survived by her daughter and her husband, Suzanne Webber Brady and John Charles Brady, Inverness, FL; her son-in-law, Larry Roger McCammon, Robinson; 2 sons and daughters- in-law, Stephen Ray and Tina Lynn Webber, Orlando, FL and William Gary and Myrna Lea Webber, Pesotum, IL; 11 grandchildren, Rebecca Jo Weger McCammon, Christopher Michael McCammon, Christopher Ray Webber, William Tyler Webber, Jennifer Marie Webber, Shannon Kathleen Brady Knotts, William John Brady, Robert Thomas Brady, Alicia Suzanne Brady, Ashley Nicole Webber, and Stacy Ann Webber; 7 great grandchildren, Jarod William Weger, Breanna Jo Weger, Anika Jean Webber, Brady William Knotts, Hanna Kathleen Knotts, Camden William Brady, and Maxwell Robert Brady; her first cousin, Ruth Ann Wade, Indianapolis; her niece, Karen Darcy and her nephew, Sheldon Haynie; and several special cousins. As per Jean€™s request, she will be cremated with graveside services at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Good Samaritan Hospice and mailed to either the Good Samaritan Hospice, 520 S. Seventh St., Vincennes, IN 47591-9984 or to the Goodwine Funeral Home, 303 E. Main St., Robinson, IL 62454.
