Albert E. Miller, Jr., 64, of Flat Rock, IL died at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at his home. He was born on January 4, 1947 in Robinson, the son of Albert E. Miller and Betty Jean Watts-Miller. Albert worked as a janitor at Lincoln Trail College before retiring after 25 years of employment.He married Helen Marie Brown on May 12, 1973 and she preceded him in death on September 17, 2010. He was also preceded in death by his parents and his sister-in-law, Sherry Miller.He is survived by his three sons and a daughter-in-law, Bill Miller, Flat Rock, Jake & Amy Miller, Odon, IN, Christopher Lee Miller, Flat Rock; five grandchildren, Brandi Weger, Flat Rock, Tanner E. Miller, Palestine, Cody Miller, Palestine, Logan Miller, Odon, IN, Brandon Lee Miller, Flat Rock; five brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill & Dixie Miller, Flat Rock, IL, Ronald & Shirley Miller, Robinson, IL, Roger & Shirley Miller, Robinson, David Miller, Flat Rock, Carl Miller, Robinson; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Carolyn & Bill Otey, Taylorville, Mary & Rick Williamson, Robinson, IL, Vicky & Harold Culbertson, Oblong, Bernice & John Malone, Robinson; as well as several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 15th, 2011 at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Palestine, with Aryn Meritt presiding over services. Burial will be in the Greenhill Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until service time at 3:00 p.m.
