Tucker Knoblett, 27, of Robinson, IL, died at 10:20 a.m. on Saturday, September 16, 2017. He was born June 11, 1990 in Lawrenceville, IL, the son of Gary Knoblett & Vicki (Dunlap) Hoalt. He grew up in Robinson and was a 2008 graduate of Robinson High School. He furthered his education at Lincoln Trail College, where he earned an Associate of Science degree in 2010. Friends and family will remember his love of music, especially classic rock. He spent countless hours jamming out on his guitar, and those were some of the best of his life. He will be remembered as a man who cared for his many friends, who have lost a very special soul in Tucker. He is survived by his parents, Gary Knoblett (Robinson, IL) and Vicki & Tony Hoalt (North Port, FL); by his sister & brother-in-law, Jessica & Jess Wesley (Robinson, IL); by his niece, Quinn Wesley (Robinson, IL); by his step-brothers, Ryan Hoalt (Fort Walton Beach, FL) and Curtis Hoalt (Collinsville, IL); by his step-sister, Chelsea Hoalt (Vincennes, IN); by his paternal grandmother, Patricia Knoblett (Robinson, IL); by his maternal grandparents, Jerry & Lana Dunlap (Columbia, IL) and Doris & Dave Ellis (Robinson, IL); by his step-grandparents, Ronnie & Linda Hoalt (Palestine, IL); by his uncle, David Dunlap (TX); by his aunts, Kelly & Dave Eason (Columbia, IL), Sharon Venters (Lawrenceville, IL), Peggy Cooper (Sullivan, IN), Nancy Waggoner (Robinson, IL), and Terrie McDaniel (Palestine, IL); as well as several cousins and longtime friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Harold Knoblett. A time of visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 21st at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson. A celebration of Tucker’s life will immediately follow and will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Pastor Tim Watson will officiate the service. The family requests that in memory of Tucker, friends and family should come dressed like him: wearing a concert t-shirt, jeans, and flip-flops. In honor of the love he had for his dog, Bear, memorials may be made to the Crawford County Humane Society, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
