Tommy Dale Phillippe

Tommy Dale Phillippe, 50, of Robinson, IL, died suddenly on Wednesday, December 28, 2016. He was born January 17, 1966 in North Kingston, RI, the son of Tommy Charles Phillippe & Myrna Kay (Watson) Phillippe. Tommy Dale was a 1984 graduate of Robinson High School. He went on to serve his country in the U.S. Army for 8 years. During this time, he did two tours of duty in Korea before Operation Desert Storm started. He made countless friends at this point in his life. He was always a lover of music, and it was a constant source of joy in his life. He was an avid golfer and also knew his way around the kitchen. Tommy Dale was an intelligent man, and often enjoyed playing trivia games. Friends and family alike will remember his wonderful sense of humor and his one-of-a-kind personality. He will forever be missed. Tommy Dale is survived by his two sons, Tommy Elliot Phillippe & his wife, Edie Clemens (Colorado Springs, CO) and Logan Phillippe (Robinson, IL); by his two granddaughters, Liliana Phillippe and Arya Phillippe; by his parents, Tommy Charles Phillippe & Myrna Kay Phillippe (Robinson, IL); by his sister, Deborah Earnest (Robinson, IL); as well as a plethora of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. A time of visitation will be held from 1:00-3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson. Funeral services will follow and will be held at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home, with military rites being given by the V.F.W. Post #4549. Memorials may be made to the Tommy Dale Phillippe Memorial Fund, with checks made payable to “Goodwine Funeral Homes”. Memorial envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
