Rosalie Daugherty

Rosalie Daugherty, 77, of West Union, IL, died at 10:45 p.m. (E.S.T.) on August 15, 2011 at Union Hospital, Terre Haute, IN. She was born January 26, 1934 in York Township, Clark County, IL, the daughter of Vance Bonesteel and Mary Ingle Bonesteel. She worked in production at TRW, Marshall, IL. She was a member of the West Union First Baptist Church.Rosalie married Clifford €œEarl€ Daugherty on August 10, 1949 and he preceded her in death on November 22, 2008. She was also preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers, Don and Norman Bonesteel; 2 sisters, Pauline Napier and Anna Mae Holler; a niece she raised and her husband, Sara and Bill Tuttle.She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Mary Helen and Randy Nave, Annapolis; her son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Vicky Daugherty, West Union; 4 grandchildren, Kimberly Dawn Pritchard, Jerry Duane Pritchard and his wife Christi, Jessica Collins and her husband Samuel, C.J. Daugherty and his wife Alissa; 1 Great-grandchild, Nikeya Pritchard; 2 brothers and sisters-in-law, Rex and Arlene Bonesteel, West Union, Jim and Karen Bonesteel, West Union; her sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Joe Swope, Savoy, IL; a niece she raised and her husband, Carol and Troy Harmon, Palestine; and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 20th at the Prust-Hosch Funeral Home, West Union, IL with Pastor Sonny Haumsser officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 20th preceding the services at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date at the Old York Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the West Union Public Library.
