Pauline Lamb, 62, of Flat Rock, IL, died at 6:39 p.m. on Friday, April 3, 2015 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, IN. She was born November 10, 1952 in Robinson, IL, the daughter of James Homer Courtney & Mary Pauline Arnold Courtney. She is survived by her son & daughter-in-law, Shawn & Samantha Windham (Flat Rock, IL); her daughters, Sandy Klee (Hopkinsville, KY) and Theresa Marlowe (Robinson, IL); her grandchildren, Tiffany Miller & her husband, Justin, Ryan Lamb, Shawna Windham, Dulcy Marlowe, and Wesley “Bubba” Windham; her siblings & their spouses, Dave Courtney, Jerry & Sallie Courtney, Onda Retter, Jim Courtney, Paulette & Richard Chiddix, Sheila York, Tim Courtney, Becky Kidd, and Tom & Julie Courtney; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Jack Courtney; and her sister, Joyce Hindsley. Pauline lived a life that beat the odds. She lived twenty years past her life expectancy, and while it wasn’t easy, she did it with grace and a good spirit. She loved butterflies, as anyone who knew her could attest, as well as her dog, Prince Snuggles. She will always be remembered for the love that she had and gave to her family. A time of visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 7th at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 1:00 on Tuesday, with burial following at the Oak Grove Cemetery. Pastor Dan Szombathy will be officiating the services. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
