Melissa Miller

Melissa Miller, 42, of Robinson, IL, died at 10:51 p.m. on Monday, July 30, 2018 at Crawford Memorial Hospital in Robinson. She was born December 11, 1975 in Aurora, IL, the daughter of Wayne Lemoine & Sherry (Braaksma) Lemoine, both of whom preceded her in death. She is survived by her sons, Damon & wife Shea Munoz (Tempe, AZ), Austin Lemoine & fiancée Destinee Vaughn (Marshall, IL), and Landen Miller (Robinson, IL); by her grandchild, Bentley Lemoine (Marshall, IL); by her siblings, Stacey Allen (Terre Haute, IN), Susan Dunlap (Robinson, IL), Renee Marks (Oblong, IL), Valerie Dunlap (Lawrenceville, IL); by her step-daughters, Brittany Medina and Erica Miller; by her former spouse, Tony Miller; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins & friends. Melissa grew up in northern Illinois and was a 1995 graduate of Mooseheart High School. She moved to the Robinson area in 1997 and would go on to work as the property manager at Southwind Mobile Home and RV Park, a job in which she took great pride. She was constantly looking for ways to improve the community and wanted all residents to feel at home. They could attest to her warm and loving nature. When she loved someone, she loved them unconditionally no matter what! No matter who it was, she always made room in her big heart to bring people into her life. If someone was having a hard time in life or was simply having a bad day, Melissa always knew the right thing to say. She had a tendency to make you laugh until you cried (or at least make you smile until your face hurt). Needless to say, her sense of humor will be dearly missed, especially by her children and grandchildren, who were her pride and joy. She was and is a great mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, wife, and friend! A time of visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 7th at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or to the National Kidney Foundation, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
