Lexi Davis

Lexi Davis, 16, of Robinson, IL, died at 5:47 p.m. on Wednesday, May 17, 2017. She was born April 21, 2001 in Robinson, the daughter of Bryan Shane Davis & Stephanie Lynn (Beanblossom) Davis, both of whom survive. She is also survived by her brother, Damion Davis; by her sister, Kyra Davis; and by many grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Helen Owens; and by her dear friend, Alexis Faith Williams. Lexi grew up in Robinson and attended school there throughout her life, having just finished her sophomore year at Robinson High School. At home, she loved listening to music and thoroughly enjoyed drawing. Relationships were important to her. She simply enjoyed hanging out and could often be found watching Netflix with her family and friends. They remember her as a beautiful, intelligent, and ambitious soul; a thoughtful, funny girl who had a contagious smile and a wonderful sense of humor. We all have lost a truly special soul in Lexi Davis. A time of visitation will be held from 3:00-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 24th at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson. A celebration of Lexi’s life will immediately follow and will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, with Pastor Aaron Peternel officiating the service. Memorials may be made to the Lexi Davis Memorial Fund, with checks made payable to “Goodwine Funeral Homes”. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
