Kristy Cunningham

July 14, 1967 — March 16, 2019

Kristy Cunningham, 51, of Robinson, IL, died at 8:51 p.m. (EST) on Saturday, March 16, 2019, at the Sullivan County Community Hospital in Sullivan, IN. She was born July 14, 1967 in Robinson, IL, the daughter James & Nancy (Provines) Harrison, both of whom survive. She married Joe Cunningham on April 7, 1995 and he too survives. She is also survived by her daughters, Kelsey Sutfin (Robinson, IL) and Virginia & Scott Glowski (Redmond, WA); by her sons, Kyle Cunningham (Colorado Springs, CO) and Sam Cunningham (Robinson, IL); by her granddaughter, Jane Sutfin (Robinson, IL); by her brother & sister-in-law, Andrew & Carol Harrison (Robinson, IL); by her niece, Tracy Harrison; by her mother-in-law, Jackie Cunningham (Oblong, IL); by her brother-in-law & sister-in-law, Jerry & Ann Cunningham (Kirkwood, MO); by her nieces, Clare, Julia and Grace Cunningham; as well as Angie Elliott, Roston Rich, Patrick Tullock, who she considered her family as well. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Otto & Velma Harrison and Gladys & Opal Provines; by her aunt, Judy Davis; by her father-in-law, Jack Cunningham; and by her dear friend, Randy Rich. Kristy grew up in the Robinson area and was a 1985 graduate of RHS. She worked for a number of area businesses before getting on with Rich Accounting, where she’s been the office manager for over 15 years. She loved the work but loved those she worked with even more! Joe remembers his wife as the most humble person their family has ever known. “Kristy was so smart, but she never believed it. She loved everyone with an equal heart, but her most special love was reserved for those who needed it most and maybe that is why she loved me. She always knew the right words to say and gave the advice we needed to hear. Her last moments on earth were spent teaching us all those things. She showed us how to be a good person instead of simply telling us. Her life would tell us all: ‘be slow to speak, quick to listen and to start every interaction with the love of Jesus in your heart. And most importantly, to accept Him as your Lord and Savior, that is where love starts.’” May we all strive to live like Kristy, showing Christ to the world around us in our loving words and actions. A time of visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 20th at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 21st at the funeral home with Jordan Frapp & Eric Trout officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery with Trey Reid officiating. Memorials may be made to “Crawford County Relay for Life”.
