Kayla Tennelle Watts, 19, of Robinson, IL, died at 2:25 p.m. Sunday, August 19, 2012 at the Carle Hospital, Urbana, IL. She was born November 29, 1992 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Dale Watts and Babbie Inboden Watts (Stewart). She attended Lincoln Trail College and was Homecoming Princess at LTC this year. She was well-known for her athletic achievements, having excelled in basketball, track, and summer softball. She enjoyed fishing with her brother and riding 4-wheelers, jet skis, as well as her scooter, and motorcycle.Kayla is survived by her father, Dale and his wife, Beth Watts, (Robinson), her mother, Babbie and her husband, David Stewart, (Robinson); her brother, Matthew Watts, (Palestine); her sister and brother-in-law, Brandie and Gary Watts (Robinson); her two step-brothers, Adam Stewart, (Washington, IN) and Nate & Sarah Stewart (Chandler, IN); her grandmother, Karon Inboden; her grandmother, Phyllis Van Schoyck (Robinson); and her grandfather, Larry Van Schoyck (Robinson); and her dog, Oakley.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 23, 2012 at the Highland Avenue Church of Christ in Robinson with Revs. Jack Clay, Shane Bopp, and Mike McElya officiating. Burial will be in the Shire Cemetery, Stoy, IL. Visitation will be held from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at the church. The Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson is in charge of arrangements.
