Elizabeth Lowe

Elizabeth "Beth" Lowe, 68, of Palestine, IL, passed away on April 16, 2025, at her home.

Born on November 23, 1956, she was the daughter of Ausby Lowe III and Elizabeth (Willis) Lowe, both of whom preceded her in death. She was also preceded by her brother, Larry Lowe.

Beth was a strong-willed woman who valued her independence and never hesitated to speak her mind. She spent much of her life caring for her brother and worked various jobs over the years. She loved her dogs and found joy on the golf course.

An avid golfer, Beth was named Oak Glen Women's Champion in 2019. She was a longtime member of the Terre Haute Ladies Golf League at Rea Park and remained active with the Oak Glennettes, where she currently served as secretary.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 23rd, at the Robinson New Cemetery, with Celebrant Curt Goodwine officiating. The Goodwine Funeral Home in Palestine is in charge of these arrangements.
