Earl L. Williams, 80, of West Union, IL, died at 8:35 p.m. on Friday, May 7, 2010 at his home. He was born March 30, 1930 in Edgar County, IL, the son of Roy and Gertrude (Hickel) Williams. Earl owned and operated Earl€™s Supper Club in West Union for 55 years. He was a lifetime member of the West Union American Legion, and enjoyed raising cattle.He married Beverly Cook on February 2, 1952, and she survives. He is also survived by his daughter Debbie and her husband Don Isbell, Woodstock, IL; his son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Denise Williams, rural West Union; 4 grandchildren, Lacey and Landon Williams, rural West Union, Angie Isbell, Palatine, IL, and Amy and her husband James Lombardo, Harvard, IL; 2 brothers, Carl Williams, Martinsville, and Dean Williams, Florida; 4 sisters, Mary Richardson, Casey; Melva Bell, Hume, IL, Ella Wallace, Marshall, and Dorothy Jenny, Casey; as well as several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents, his two sons, Buddy and Rick Williams; two brothers, Allen and Donnie Williams, a sister Beulah ThomasinoFuneral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 11th at the Prust-Hosch Funeral Home in West Union, IL. Visitation will be from 3:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, May 10th and from 7:30 a.m. to service time on Tuesday. Brother Don Russell is in charge of services. Burial will be in the Ridgelawn Cemetery, Martinsville, IL. Memorials may be made to the Hutsonville High School Athletic Dept or to the Lincolnland Hospice, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
