Debra "Debbie" Lowe

Debra “Debbie” Lowe, 59, of Robinson, IL, died at 2:14 a.m. on Monday, November 28, 2016 in the comfort of her home. She was born August 23, 1957 in Robinson, IL, the daughter of Richard "Dick" Rodgers & Sharon Beard Rodgers. She married Greg Lowe on February 22, 1975 and he survives. She is also survived by her children, Angie Lowe (Robinson, IL) and Bradly & Dutches Lowe (Cloverdale, IN); by her beloved grandchildren, Brody and Milania Lowe; by her mother, Sharon Rodgers (Robinson, IL); by her sisters, who were her best friends, Karen Stinson (Robinson, IL) and Pam Dorn (Robinson, IL); by her sisters-in-law, Linda Lowe (Terre Haute, IN), Joan Miller (Terre Haute, IN), Shirley & Carl Zablo (Terre Haute, IN), and Deloris & Ken Gulla (Kokomo, IN); as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard "Dick" Rodgers on October 17, 2016; by her father-in-law & mother-in-law, Russell & Juanita Lowe; and by her brother-in-law, Kurt Lowe. Debbie was a 1975 graduate of Robinson High School. She went on to work for a number of area businesses, and was a manager at Pamida and at Casey’s General Store. She was also involved with home healthcare through the State of Illinois. Away from work, she could often be found fishing and in recent years, going to the movies and spending time with her grandchildren, who were the apples of her eye. She was also an avid Saint Louis Cardinals baseball and Indianapolis Colts football fan. She was a longtime member of the Robinson First Baptist Church, and taught Sunday school there for a few years. Friends and family remember Debbie as a selfless soul who cared for others over herself. Her family has lost a beloved wife, “NeeNee”, sister, and aunt. A time of visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 30th at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 1st at the funeral home with burial following in the Robinson New Cemetery. Pastor Trey Reid will officiate the services. Memorials may be made to the Crawford County Relay for Life, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
